Lefler began enjoying guitar in 1989 and piano shortly thereafter. His first instrument was a PVT-60 which his father had bought from a pawn store. He began writing songs when he about 18 years previous, after seeing the John Lennon bio-pic, Think about. Lefler had piano classes for just a few months whereas in highschool. “My recital piece was Bruce Hornsby’s “The Manner It Is”. It was horrible. I’ve by no means had one other lesson (or recital) of any form since.” When describing his piano approach, he said, “I are likely to play the piano with my fists greater than something.”
